A lot has been shipping at Blidz lately. The biggest update is to Team-Up — one of our favourite features and, based on what we hear from users, one of yours too. We've reworked the pricing logic so that when there's an active Team-Up available to join, you'll automatically see the join price, which is typically the better deal. No comparing, no calculating — the app just shows you the best available option. We're also removing the membership requirement for joining external Team-Ups, so more people can participate in deals together regardless of where they are in their Blidz journey. Team-Up was always about collective savings. This update makes that more true.
Since launching, over 100,000 Blidz users have received more than 150,000 free orders — $0 out of pocket, totalling over $1.3 million in value. Those numbers matter to us because they represent real people saving real money. But we're also aware that for a lot of people, the problem isn't finding a better deal — it's affording the basics altogether. So this month, we decided to do something about it.
Blidz is donating $5,000 to Food Bank For New York City.
Food Bank For New York City is the city's largest hunger-relief organization, distributing tens of millions of meals each year through a network of more than 800 community partners across all five boroughs. They don't just hand out food — they work to address the root causes of hunger, connecting New Yorkers with nutrition assistance, job training, and financial empowerment programs. You can learn more about their work at foodbanknyc.org.

We chose them because their mission and ours rhyme, even if the scale looks different. They believe that access to food — like access to savings — shouldn't be determined by your zip code or your circumstances. It should be available to everyone.
That belief sits at the heart of what Blidz was built to do.
This donation is an extension of that same mindset. When we do well, we want that to ripple outward — toward the communities where our users live, and toward the people who need the most basic form of value: a meal.
We're proud to support Food Bank For New York City this Easter, and we're committed to making community giving a consistent part of how Blidz shows up in the world.
If you'd like to support their work directly, you can visit foodbanknyc.org. Every contribution — of any size — makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of the Blidz community. You make this possible.
